Penetration testing

Penetration testing services

Uncover vulnerabilities before your assessor does. We run third-party penetration tests, scoped for CMMC Level 2 CUI environments, that identify the security risks in your environment and show you how to fix them.

What is penetration testing?

Penetration testing, or pentesting, simulates cyberattacks to identify security flaws before real attackers exploit them. It uncovers weaknesses in systems, applications and networks so you can address them proactively.

Telco United performs the test as a third party, documents every finding and retests after you remediate, so the final report shows a secure system or the status of each issue.

Why run a penetration test?

  • Identify vulnerabilities and unknown security gaps before cybercriminals do
  • Mitigate risks and proactively address potential threats
  • Protect customer data and your reputation
  • Prevent business disruption and avoid financial losses
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Strengthen your overall cybersecurity posture

What is our penetration testing methodology?

  1. STEP 1

    Confidentiality and onboarding

Before testing starts, we outline the scope of the penetration test with you and sign a confidentiality agreement. Both teams validate the details: organizational infrastructure, domains, servers, devices with IP addresses and any exclusions.

  2. STEP 2

    Execute the penetration test

Testing begins with a simulated attack to uncover vulnerabilities and known weak points in the systems in scope. Results are documented in a written vulnerability assessment.

  3. STEP 3

    Actionable remediation

We consolidate everything we found into an initial report with practical remediation guidance written for business leaders and IT teams, so you can address critical risks first.

  4. STEP 4

    Retest to validate fixes

Once your teams have carried out the remediation, we reevaluate every identified vulnerability and produce the final report, which shows either a secure system or the patched and unpatched status of each issue.
